## SIGN UP, SAVE ENERGY, AND EARN CASH

####  GWP’s **Peak Savings** program run by Franklin Energy makes it easy to conserve energy on high energy-use days. Plus, you’ll earn a cash incentive when you sign up and $50 each year you participate.

 

### HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

During Peak Days, or high energy-use days, the **Peak Savings** program uses your existing smart thermostat to automatically manage your energy use by shifting it a few degrees – helping to reduce demand on the electric grid. Most people don’t even notice a difference. You’ll receive a cash incentive just for signing up, then $50 each year you participate. It’s that easy.

By enrolling, customers allow the Peak Saving program to automatically manage their energy use via their smart thermostat (adjusting the setpoint by no more than three degrees) on Peak Days when electric demand is extremely high. This small change makes a big difference in reducing demand and keeping energy costs low.
